about me

I'm a designer and photographer creating with empathy and driven to make an impact. But that's just the beginning. I truly love what I do as a creative. I'm not afraid to try new things and learn along the way. I have more than eight years of professional design experience in editorial, branding, and advertising.

I was born in Tennessee and thanks to my dad's career in the military I have lived in nearly every Southern state. Now the place I call home is Kansas City. When I'm not designing, you might find me shooting a wedding, exploring a new playground with my toddler, or planning a trip with friends.

SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Developed creative and inspiring designs for print layout, interactive digital experiences, and unique presentations. Assisted various teams to help develop elevated design strategies that would be personal and meaningful to our clients. Aligned with executive and senior leadership to develop strategic presentations. Guided fellow associates in formulating strategies through visual design and compelling, engaging content and storytelling. Worked to think outside the box and better execute these touchpoints with internal or external audiences.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER
2015 - 2016 | REVEL ADVERTISING
Collaborated with creative directors, art directors, and strategists to develop compelling design for a variety of clients. Responsibilities included design from concept development through final execution, planning and executing photoshoots, working with the team to develop and implement improved internal processes for brand and social media projects.

DESIGN EDITOR
2011 - 2014 | THE MULESKINNER
Lead a comprehensive redesign of the student newspaper, extending the new look and feel from print to web and social media applications – while also reducing the overhead costs and environmental impact of printed issues. Designed pages for every issue, including original artwork, infographics, and custom layouts. Developed a new media kit to connect potential customers with advertising opportunities.
